The most recent update is from May 2025 and as expected we continue the sold-out trends from summer (availability of camping spots at 0%). During summer more people are searching for permits for these dryer months in Kaua'i. So if you are having a hard time to get a permit 90 days in advance or your dates are completely sold out, no worries, we are here to help with monitoring and booking services :)
15-day slot availability
If you search for availability in the next 15 days, it should be very hard to find camping spot. On the other hand, if you search closer to the 90-day mark, it should be easier. We clearly notice this trend on the graph. It's also visible how the spot availability dropped in February 2025. As an example, since November, the availability from day 75 to 90, dropped from 74% (big blue bar) to 3% (last red bar for May). Permits available right now 90+ days ahead :)

For 2 hikers in 2 consecutive days. This is another way to consider occupations vs availability numbers. We simply look into days we could book at least a single permit for 2 hikers in 2 consecutive days. Availability drops when we add more days or hikers.
