"I didn’t know what to think about your site. I tried to hike the Kalalau trail with some friends 20 years ago, but the friend shattered her foot by venturing a little too far to the edge and we had to return. Only made it 2 miles into this beautiful hike. I’ve had it on my bucket list ever since then and was intent on completing the journey on my next trip to Kauai (And how often does one get to Kauai?). Imagine my surprise 20 years later researching the hike for an upcoming trip to Hawaii only to find out that permits are needed now to hike the Kalalau Trail. Wasted a day trying to navigate the permitting process which is very suspect. Nothing available for the dates I needed so I almost gave up in frustration. As a last resort, I found GoKalalau by luck on line and took a chance. They promised to either get me passes for trips beyond 90 days (which wouldn’t work for me), or keep me notified about openings on days I was seeking in the next 90 days by monitoring the state park website constantly. I honestly thought it was a bit of a hoax and wouldn’t work but paid the modest fee. They were very helpful in communicating and explaining the process. Within 3 days, spots opened up, they notified me and they guided me to the site that I needed to immediately sign up for the permit. It worked!!!!! It isn’t a scam. Permit is in hand and I can rest easily now knowing that the details are secure. I wish this service was available for all of the other state and national park attractions that require permits and are similarly impossible to get going by the rules. Thank you GoKalalau."

"GoKalalau is amazing! My sisters and I haven’t been together in over ten years and made the decision to meet in Hawaii. It’s been on my bucket list to do the Kalalau trail on the Na Pali coast for many years so when I realized how hard it was to get permits, and that I was passed the 90 days, I was disappointed. I learned about GoKalalau on a Facebook page for the trail. In a last effort, I signed up for their permit monitoring feature in hopes that there might be some cancellations on the days I’m out there. I got a permit that first night! And then about a week later there were several other cancellations allowing me to snag more nights. I’m so happy! Additionally, Anna, the Operations and Support Specialist has sent me several personal messages to help me further in my quest and wish me luck. If I ever do this trail again, I will definitely just be going through GoKalalau directly and using their permit purchasing option to ease the stress all together."
